About 5-7 years ago when O.J. Ruiz umpired in the Charter Fabric League I thought he was a bad umpire. I was wrong. So wrong. I'm sorry. He has improved and not only do I consider him a fair and competent official who I have the utmost respect for, I also consider him a friend.
